FJORD RUBY designs quality coats with a unique story behind them.
At FJORD RUBY we grasp the fashion industry’s high speed and ever changing seasons in an alternative way. We want to detach from the established fashion scene and not be bound to the traditional seasons. That is why we introduce our styles in new materials during the year, to make our designs less dependent on the season.
We produce outerwear out of deadstock materials, and therefore only have a certain amount of our different fabrics and materials available. That is why all our products are limited. Sometimes we have 20 coats in a certain material and sometimes only 3. That is the premise, when you design and produce as we do – it is the challenge, the advantage, and the unique.
We design and produce outerwear from left over materials from the textile industry. These materials are called deadstock textiles. Since we use left over materials from other’s productions we have varying amounts of textiles available for our own productions. To us that is a sustainable and responsible approach to the fashion industry that respects the environment. We continuously seek to optimize our concept and to better our use of forgotten; ready to be thrown out, materials.
All materials for our coats are carefully chosen and of the highest quality available. From our working base in Denmark, we have a close relationship with our production in Lithuania, which ensures that all your products match our high standard.
With a special love for classic tailoring, we explore the design possibilities within this particular frame. In general, we work with five classic styles, which match and respect different body types in their own way.
FJORD RUBY wants to contribute to a sustainable fashion industry. We believe in a slow fashion future and therefore keep a simple and strong expression on our designs.
We want to be frontrunners in a fashion industry with conscious designs. Our vision is to develop fashion products for the conscious consumer, which is both high in quality and produced consciously. We wish to let the consumer make “the good choice” without compromising on quality or design.
